 I think that anytime  there is excitement and interest about a women’s match it is a great thing. Vonda spoke her mind let’s see her defend her words. But frankly I think that Laila will give Vonda more than she can handle.

 Vonda Ward would kick butt.  Ali has been ducking Vonda for quite  awhile. I’d be surprised if they ever fight.

   I think Laila would  definitely win.  Vonda is big and strong but not a very good boxer.  It  just wouldn’t be an interesting match up other than the novelty of seeing  them stand next to each other and fight.

  I  think this fight will show that Laila’s skills are vastly superior to Vonda’s. It will be exciting for a few moments and the KO by ALI should be       classic.

  Ali  drops the big blonde after punishing her body and then bringing her head  down into punching range.

It  would COULD be a big fight for women’s boxing.   IF the ref stays out of it, and lets these ladies decide the outcome by  themselves.    A premature stoppage would totally ruin the fight. And that is a very real possibility.

I  think Ali would take apart Ward easily. Forget the reach, Ali’s style and skill would dominate.

“The bigger they are, the harder they fall”. Ali will end her(Vonda’s) career  with a most impressive win. Vonda “the Robot” will be terminated!”

It’s  about time both girls were given a tough test and earned the right to call  themselves champions. Neither has really been tested (although Vonda Ward was given a tough time on Saturday night – probably due to the fact that  she underestimated her opponent) and what better way for them to be tested   than getting them to fight one other. Both girls are good fighters and it would make for a fascinating and probably very exciting fight. Let’s get  it on!

I think that it would be a good fight but ward is a heavyweight in lalia  might have to go up a few pounds. So Maybe she can pull it off. But I do       know that it’s not going to be any knock outs lalia has a lot of work to  do.

Laila’s talents surpass Vonda’s.  Vonda’s skills are very limited.  Her  height and reach is only going to get her so far.  When the competition       steps up, she’s going to have to learn how to box – not just throw her arms out like a robot.

I so  hope Ward wins.  Just to see Laila deal with a loss now that she is the next big thing.

Ward is another hand picked duck.  Could be interesting.

If a different weight division is not a problem for Ali, it will be a hot fight, but I think Laila will win. She progress a lot from the first time       she stepped on the ring and the only skill she had was her name and …. an easy opponent. Respect to Ali. Ward is also a good fighter very fit and       strong, respect to her, too.    But I prefer Ali style. Good luck girls. The best will win.

Is ward ready for Ali no but may this grudge is what they need for a good  fight.

Too much weight difference for their normal fighting weight.

If  ward will just box her from the outside and not get into a slugging match  I think she can win but if she tries to slug it out ward maybe in trouble

For  Laila, I think women’s boxing could use her credibility and a good  match-up between Ali-Ann Wolfe or even “Invisible” Lucia. Vonda needs to   wait her turn and take on opponents who don’t have TOMATO CAN written on  their back. Vonda is one of the up and coming talents, but needs more  skills before she steps in the ring with Ali and risks her record.

Ali’s vs. Ward could very well become Holmes vs. Cooney, a daughter of the Greatest champion of all  time Muhammad Ali against the female vision of the Great White Hope in the heavyweight division Vonda All American Girl Ward.

Laila needs a real challenge.

Ali  is a much better stylist than ward & Ali is generally a better fighter.

It will look like Jones vs. ruiz except Ward will be stoped in Vegas for taking too many punches.

She  Bee Stingin’ and bruisin’ and Ward be Singin’ and cruising’…all the way  to the Bank. After the brawl, they’re going to ask you all, should we be  sending Ali to the mental Ward?

Ward is a robot. Ali will dismantle her.

I say it’s hot because I really respect laila and enjoy watching her fight.  That being said I cannot really say whether or not it will be a great  fight because I don’t know much about ward.  However, from much of the   commentary I’ve read about her, it seems that she doesn’t possess a lot of  power behind her punches.  Now having seen laila fight I feel that Laila  will defeat Vonda.  Not necessarily easily but she’ll win all the same.

Ali’s skills are superior but Ward’s height and strength should make such       a match up interesting.

Hot  if it is a good match up! Don’t have a favorite…… want to see an  entertaining fight, quality fight for the women…..Laila she’s bad.

A  good opportunity for Laila to demonstrate her skills when she is the smaller fighter. Also, a good opportunity for Ward to shut YaYa McClain’s  mouth by defeating his wife.

A  tempest in the teapot.  Female heavyweights are a sideshow attraction in spite of Ms. Ward’s very credible presence.  And Ms. Ali has enough on       her plate in the super middleweight division (read Ann Wolfe) to go after such a tall target.

The style difference will seem to make for a uninteresting contest.

Can’t wait for this fight to happen!

Vonda Ward is not ready for Ali.  Ward lacks defensive skills and the use  of hooks or uppercuts.  Ward was running out of gas at the end of the       Salazar fight. If that fight was a 6 or 8 round fight, Ward would have  lost by KO.  Ali will KO Ward by the5th or 6th round.  Ward’s left jab and       straight right will not keep Ali from working the body and eventually  throwing hooks to knock out Ward.  I like Vonda Ward; she has a lot of       potential, but she needs seasoning before fighting Ali. She might want to  start with Kellie Pearce  of  Australia,  Marsha Valley, or any of Ali’s previous opponents: Suzy Taylor, Valerie  Mahfood (who would have fought, instead of Salazar if she got off from work), Kendra Lenhart, Jacqui Frazier-Lyde please I love to see the all Ali fights so yea I think they should fight and just to let everyone know I BELIEVE that Ali will win.

Ward  cannot fight and Ali would win easily. All Ward has is height.

After reading Bernie McCoy’s Article on who the two daughters are dodging,  I seem to remember another fighter that they are dodging as well-Vicious  Veronica Simmons, who challenged Jacqui Frazier-Lyde a few months ago when  Frazier made a trip to Harlem for a Boxing event that was going on there honoring some of the 70s pioneers of the sport for women like Lady Tyger Trimiar. I do not know what happen to that challenge, but since it obviously was avoided by the Frazier Lyde Team as well as the Ali Team in       a letter that I wrote to Laila, asking her if she would consider fighting Simmons. I, of course, got no response back from Laila at all. Perhaps the  hottest match up would be putting Vicious Veronica and Anne Wolfe in there  to ‘Get It On’ while the daughters sit in the audience watching in awe while two real skilled fighters show them what each of the daughters are in for if they have the courage or intestinal fortitude to step in  the  ring with either Wolfe or Simmons. Here’s to Wolfe and Simmons, the real  HOT match up.

I  think Ali can take ward.

Ali winning all rounds, It would be an awesome fight to see, also this would  be her chance to show the world what she made of!

Ali is all hype, as this so-called confrontation at a press conference.  Anytime Don King has anything to do with anything, it’s all hype to make       bucks. Ward is a real fighter. Ali is a public relations product  promulgated to capatalize on her father’s name. She won’t fight Ward. If  they let her, and she does. She’s dumber than I think. Look what happened to Mia when she mistook her press releases for truth.

I will finally think Ali is taking a chance and not playing the cautious  role with fighters that are littler than her.

Laila is the best female boxer and she will knock ward out. How much  bigger is ward, bigger will be the fall!

Ali  Will Ko Ward. Vonda Does Not Have Ali’s Boxing Skills. Ali will in fact As  She Predicted Stretch Out Vonda On The Canvas.

Well, a fight worth seeing.  I’m taking up boxing, and these women are the  two women that I look up to the most.  I wanna know who is going to win,  so I can take that title from her. 🙂 Vonda ward is 6’6″, I’m 6’3″, Laila  Ali is 5’11”, I can picture myself in the ring with both women.

It’s all hype.  Another excuse for Ali to duck Wolfe.

Whatever goes up verbally now – both are great  athletes and the fight  would be one of the greatest in women’s boxing history IT WILL BE GOOD MATCH FOR LAILA & VONDA WARD.

Damn, this will be a good fight, I wish I could see the fight person.  I look up to both women, and they are very talented, but I see show       bloodshed.

Couldn’t they find a better and much more talented fighter for Ali,  I mean  really does Ward really have what it takes to beat Ali? I don’t. Ward is    just no match, she’s like 10 feet too tall. Sorry but Ward is just a boxing champ because she’s got a height and reach over everyone. Also whose really  in her weight and height class? Not much. Ali will be cheated.

Ward  has few boxing skills and will certainly lose a bout against an  ever-improving Ali.
