Sue TL Fox to Meet Up in Person with Pioneer Darlene Buckskin in June!

(APR 5) Very excited to announce that I will be meeting up with a great pioneer female boxer, middleweight Darlene “Princess Blue Bird” Buckskin (Dar Buckskin). Dar was ranked #2 in the world in the late 1970’s, up to 1980. I will be seeing Buckskin in the first part of June to spend the day with her and videoing where she trained in Crescent City, California, and more!

I fought Buckskin in Las Vegas, Nevada many moons ago, losing to her by a four-round split decision (more to this story at a later time of details of it that I will be writing about).

She has a GREAT story behind this adventure that she and I took way in the past when women’s boxing was not cool!

She has been invited as a special guest to the 2022 International Women’s Boxing Hall of Fame, that takes place on October 22, 2022, at the Orleans Hotel & Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada and will receive a high-honor “Special Award” as the history-first Native American professional female boxer, along with her pro boxing sister posthumous Theresa “Princess Red Star” Kibby on this date in Vegas!
